Kryton is a Commercial Photographer in Edmonton.

Brock Kryton was born and raised in Edmonton. He began shooting film when he was fifteen years old. He was the first freshman in his high school to receive the McBain Camera Graphic Arts Awards for Proficiency in Graphic Arts normally awarded to graduating students.

At 19, he started a photography business, and began photographing and selling prints of competitors at Western and English equestrian events across Western Canada. A year later, he was asked to photograph the national event for Trail Riding and Endurance Riding in Sundre, Alberta.

He pursued post-secondary education at MacEwan University and enrolled in the Design Studies program with a major in photography. While at University, he strengthened his craft, diversified ls in other media, and continued to work on his business; three years later, he graduated on the Dean's list.

He now lives and works as commercial photographer in Edmonton with clients in many different sectors. He is also a sessional instructor at MacEwan University. He has taught a variety of photography classes in Edmonton including Portrait Photography, Contemporary Lifestyle Photography, iPhone Photography, and Special Event Photography.

In 2013, Brock received an honourable mention as one of Canada's top 25 emerging artists in CAPIC's "Rodeo 6" contest. He currently has representation with the Art Sales and Rental Gallery Department of the Art Gallery of Alberta. When he's not developing his craft, Brock enjoys spending time with his wife and three beautiful daughters.
